Yet Another Delay in MA Court Reopening

The Supreme Judicial Court has issued another order regarding the closure of state courthouses to the general public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new opening date has been pushed back from June 1st to July 1st, with the exceptions for emergency matters that cannot be addressed virtually. Under the new extension order, courthouses will remain physically closed to most business, and courts will continue to be open to conduct business virtually.
